THIS PRODUCT IS NO LONGER IN PRODUCTION.
The Inovonics 500 Acoustic Analyzer combines into one compact unit the functions of both a 1/3-octave Real Time Analyzer and a Reverberation or Decay Time (RT60) Analyzer.
The 500 feature advanced digital logic with simplified keyboard data entry, and a bright, high resolution 13 x 31 LED matrix for display of frequency response and decay characteristics.
A built-in Pink Noise source yields either wideband noise for the response measurements, or noise in octave bands for RT60 analysis.
The 500 is fully portable, operating from either the A/C line or its internal rechargeable battery.
0.5, 1 or 2 dB / step with relative Reference Level and indicated display error less than =0.25 dB; 3dB/step with less than ±0.5dB error.
2 polepair filters on ISO one-third octave centers, 25 Hz to 20 kHz. Response exceeds ANSI S1.11/Class II/1971 standard. Relative filter accuracy ±0.5dB.
PEAK or 0.25, 1 or 4 sec. log-averaging response. Crest factor greater than 20dB above indicated reference level.
200 ohms, balanced with XLR connector. MIC CALIB adjustment accomodations microphone sensitivities between -60 and -48dB re, 10 u_bar.
100K-ohms, unbalanced: calibrated to ±0.5 dB.
Digitally synthesized, pseudo-random; ±0.5 dB spectral accuracy. Selectable wideband or octaveband output with 2-pole filters on ISO centers, 63 Hz to 8 kHz. Manually-gated, unbalanced output is variable to ± 5 dBm.
BNC connectors for scope vertical and sweep trigger; external scope display has 7.5, 15, 30 or 45dB dynamic range.
Permits external control of memory storage, pink noise gating and decay plot scan; provides display data output and internal clocking signals for interfacing with digital peripherals.
